Scunthorpe United moved to within 90 minutes of a first promotion in 11 years after blowing away Chorley in an entertaining playoff semi-final at the Attis Arena.
A first-half brace from Danny Whitehall – which sandwiched a Kole Hall equaliser for the visitors – set the Iron on the road to victory, before Callum Roberts made it 3-1 and former Magpies striker Carlton Ubaezuonu netted a match-clinching fourth in the second half.
