HORNCHURCH went top with victory over Farnborough.
An early effort from Boro’s Billy Clifford stung the palms of Arthur Nasta, who dived well to parry.
It was the Urchins who took the lead on 20 minutes – a superb pinpoint cross from Josh Hare was met at the back post by Will Greenidge, heading firmly past Jack Turner.
Mason Bloomfield and Dominic Poleon both tested Nasta in quick succession but the Hornchurch keeper’s lightning reflexes denying Bloomfield minutes later had the crowd in disbelief.
