Renshaw lifts his men off bottom

A CLOSE game at Haig Avenue ended goalless after home keeper Chris Renshaw saved a penalty.
Early shots on goal were afforded with saves made by both sides but the best chances fell to Southport.
Just after the 20-minute mark, Port conjured up two good chances down the flank with Jordan Slew unable to find the target.
Then, Arthur Gnahoua was put through on goal but Shields goalkeeper Jasper Sheik made a remarkable save to keep the gave level.
