ALFRETON Town grabbed an important win at home against AFC Telford thanks to a debut penalty from Austin Samuels.
Dylan Allen-Hadley had the first real sight on goal for the visitors as his low-effort was well kept out by George Willis in the Alfreton goal.
Jed Abbey’s free-kick was then blocked by a Telford defender as the Reds looked for the opener in the early stages.
Oliver Cawthorne then had a header well-saved by Willis after a good set-piece ball from Jordan Cranston.
Willis was then on hand again to deny the visitor...
