South Shields blew rivals Spennymoor away in a scintillating display that brought three goals in each half and a hat-trick for top gun Cedwyn Scott.
The striker walked away with the match ball, with Todd Alcock, Paul Blackett and Dan Dodds also on target for the leaders.
Manager Ian Watson was delighted with how his side crushed a Spennymoor side just outside the top seven despite conceding five or more goals three times this season.
