CARR DRIVES MAGPIES TO A RARE WIN ON TRAVELS

SUB Tom Carr ended Chorley’s long wait to savour a success on the road after his last-gasp goal completed a come-from-behind win against Merthyr Town.
The striker’s cute finish in the fifth minute of added time secured a first away win since August for the Magpies, who had trailed 2-0. It means Paul Michael’s men have now lost four in a row.
They appeared on course to snap that streak when Kiban Rai, a former Martyrs’ junior who returned this week on loan from Aldershot, opened the scoring.
