A KEENLY-CONTESTED draw between Bedford Town and Hereford but a result that satisfied neither side.
Bedford struck first, in the 18th minute, when Ryan Doherty headed home, after Josh Castiglione’s free-kick hit the wall, but allowed George Moncur to direct the rebound on to the head of the defender.
Theo Richardson then denied an effort from Moncur to keep the score at 1-0.
The Eagles added to the scoreline just before the half hour when Moncur’s shot-cross from the left byline rebounded to Castiglione, who fired home.
