A DOMINANT South Shields performance saw them pick up all three points away from home to keep in touch with AFC Fylde at the top.
South Shields took an early lead as Mateusz Hewelt made an unbelievable save to deny the away side only for the Mariners top goalscorer Paul Blackett to tap home to give his side the lead four minutes in.
It wasn’t long until South Shields scored again as Blackett latched on to another through ball and tapped home into the bottom corner doubling the lead.
