Needham Market recorded an important victory over 18th-placed Oxford City at the Ecologic Stadium Bloomfields in the National League North.
While both sides shared the possession early on, Corrie Andrews saw two close-range shots blocked by Tommy Smith inside 14 minutes and clever play from the Marketmen broke the deadlock two minutes later.
An exquisite cross-field ball from Kyle Hammond released Iffy Allen through into the penalty box to lob expertly over the keeper into the corner.
