DARTFORD’S play-off bid suffered a setback as Charlie Walker earned City a second win in 16 games.
Tony Burman’s Darts had chances to build a comfortable lead before the break, but with the wind in their backs after the interval they were held off with ease.
St Albans were cagey early on and Dartford had efforts from Tom Wynter and Tom Murphy. City, with Solomon Sambou showing up well, saw a looped effort from Graeme Montgomery land on top of the net.
