TWO stunning strikes from Daniel Akindayini saw Margate lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
The first of Akindayini’s goals came in the twelfth minute as he thumped a dipping volley past Tom McHale from 20 yards after Pape Gueye’s cushioned header fell perfectly into his path.
Truro ramped up the pressure on the hosts as Tyler Harvey and Cody Cooke ballooned over when well placed while Andrew Neal headed straight at Jonathan Miles.
