DAYLE GRUBBtook his goal tally to 20 for the season as Weston-super- Mare beat Eastbourne Borough in the Seagulls’ last home game of the campaign.
It was the home side who started the stronger and they opened the scoring with some impressive breakaway play. Danny Greenslade made an excellent run on the left flank and his cross was inch perfect for Jake Reid to head home from close range.
But Weston had keeper Luke Purnell to thank for keeping their lead intact just four minutes later.
