GLOUCESTER made the most of a first-half penalty and red card at Marsh Lane.
Kabby Tshimanga spurned a golden opportunity to give his side the lead after seven minutes, racing clear of the defence but failing to finish on his unfavoured left foot.
Craig Fasanmade and Josh Ashby tested Wollacott from range, shooting wide of his right post. And the visitors took the lead shortly before the break, debutant Ryan Case seeing red for handling the ball on the line with Joe Hanks converting from the spot.
