SLICE OF LUCK SINKS HEMEL AS BLUEBIRDS BAG WINNER

CHIPPENHAM banked three precious points from what can only be described as a dour affair at Vauxhall Road. The Bluebirds – playing in a dull grey kit which matched the football being served up – probably just about edged the first half with Daniel Grimshaw by far the busier of the keepers without being really tested.
Hemel did have the ball in the net on 14 minutes but Sam Ashford was adjudged to have been offside.
