Wood at double as Angels soar

OXFORD CITY 0 TONBRIDGE ANGELS 3

TONBRIDGE ANGELS moved out of the National League South relegation zone with a fine victory over Oxford City.
The scoring was opened after fifteen minutes as Ben Greenhalgh’s cross from left found Tom Wood in the centre, who headed past Craig King for the opening goal.
Elliot Benyon then went close to levelling after half-an-hour as a ball over the top found the striker, however his chip was straight at Jon Henly.
Kyran Wiltshire then went close just before the break as he had an effort just the wrong side of the post from a wide angle....
