A JOAN Luque penalty was enough to give Maidstone United their first victory in eight matches.
The Stones’ barren spell has also seen them fail to score in six of their last seven games.
The first half was a largely quiet affair but Maidstone did score for the first time in five home matches. With 21 minutes played, the ball appeared to strike Spencer Hamilton’s arm just inside the box. Hamilton was frustrated with the penalty decision and Luque rolled the ball into the net, having sent keeper Will Henry the wrong way.
