EDGED OUT: Havant just missed out on a play-off place last term

1National League South clubs will play six games more this season than last term. Running one short last term, the division now stands at 24 teams. Whereas last year this league was played out over 40 games, this term an extra 18 points will be up for grabs. That is a lot of football that will make the difference for so many between promotion and relegation.
2Ebbsfleet United were minutes from promotion through the play-offs last season only for Dorking Wanderers to complete a remarkable late turnaround in the final.
