TONBRIDGE Angels moved within five points of the top seven with victory at Clarence Park.
St Albans started the brighter of the two sides and took the lead through loanee Glenn McConnell.
The youngster latched onto a ball over the top and took a touch before calmly dinking the ball over Jonathan Henly.
Tonbridge rallied well and levelled just past the half-hour mark. Joe Turner capitalised on a mistake by Michael Clark and found the far corner of the net with his strike.
