WORTHING continued their fantastic form in 2024 with victory over Aveley at Parkside, which was the hosts’ first defeat of 2024.
It was a tight game in the first half and continued to be so in the second with nothing much in terms of chances. Aveley came the closest in the opening exchanges through Arjanit Krasniqi as he saw his well struck free-kick finger tipped on to the crossbar.
