Late City flurry so nearly brings win

DAN Hayfield’s fine finish saw Bath City earn a point at struggling Havant.
The midfielder walloped home in the 86th minute to cancel out Alfy Whittingham’s opener.
Joe McNerney’s stunning block on the tricky Ewan Clark proved important as Havant took a 15th minute lead.
Ryan Seager’s shot was superbly saved at point blank range by Jose Casa-Grande but Whittingham was on hand to convert the rebound from six yards.
Tom Smith and Cody Cooke squandered openings for the Romans before the break.
