SLOUGH TOWN edged past Hemel Hempstead Town, leaving the Rebels five points from the final play-off spot with two games to go.
Hemel Hempstead started well with Joe Re creating an early opportunity for George Williams to test Slough stopper Hugo Sobte. The visitors grew into the game and took the lead after 15 minutes when Johnny Goddard picked up the ball up on the left before cutting inside and firing the ball into the top-right corner of Jonathan Macaulay’s net.
