GODDARD SO COOL TO NICK LATE DRAW

A LATE Johnny Goddard penalty results in the spoils being shared between Slough Town and Welling United.
In a game that started slowly, chances were limited in the opening stages.
The first meaningful chance came from
Dan Bayliss in the 21st minute, when he headed goalwards from close range but saw his effort well-saved by Reice Charles-Cook.
On 34 minutes, it was Goddard, who smashed the ball over from point-blank range.
Just before halftime the hosts came close again, with David Ogbonna curling an effort off the post.
