CHELMSFORD CITY won their sixth game in a row in all competitions with an entertaining victory over Eastbourne Borough who had been in second place.
However it was the confident Clarets that started the game the better and wholly dominated the first period, and Ruaridh Donaldson’s deflected long-ranger got the scoring under way.
Osman Foyo got in behind the defence on 39 minutes and finished calmly, and then Jordan Greenidge capped a superb half, heading in Kane Crichlow’s corner in the last minute of the first half.
