SUBSTITUTE Shaun Jeffers’ 96th-minute equaliser claimed a valuable point for strugglers St Albans on the south coast.
Danny Cashman had Worthing’s two best chances in the early stages. The former Coventry City attacker prodded over from inside the box before then forcing Michael Johnson into a smart save with his foot from six yards. Chris Haigh was called into action when Gio Rasulo met Josh Castiglione’s cross but his header was well saved by the keeper.
