WORTHING found a way past Enfield Town in a game of very few clear chances, however, a captain’s goal was enough to separate the sides.
The Rebels’ Joel Colbran was brought down in the area, yet the referee was in line with the challenge and unconvinced of any wrongdoing.
After this, Enfield’s defenders should’ve perhaps been alive to Colbran.
However, in the last action of the first half his run wasn’t tracked and he was able to latch on to a superb Nicky Wheeler ball to finish well from close range.
