MATT MCCLURE struck the winning goal from almost the halfway line as Chippenham Town held on for victory at Hampton & Richmond.
All three strikes were worthy goal-of-the-day contenders but McClure scored the pick on 25 minutes, catching Max Merrick off his line to loft perfectly into the net and double his side’s lead.
The Bluebirds had taken the lead two minutes prior, Tyreke Johnson with a sweet half-volley into the top corner after James Roberts had seen a penalty saved at the other end.
