A LACK of potency again proved costly for Welling United as a draw with Hornchurch dragged them closer to relegation. When the two teams met in August, neither was able to find the net and history repeated itself at Park View Road.
Daryl McMahon’s Urchins had the better of the limited opportunities in the early stages. Angelo Balanta shot wide and Will Greenidge fired well over before Balanta hooked it too high after a Tommy Wraight knock down from a free kick.
