Danny Cashman says Worthing helped him ‘find himself again’ after leaving the Rebels to return to the Football League with Crawley Town.
Cashman scored 20 goals in 55 appearances last season and racked up his 100th game for the south-coast club as they crashed out of the National League South play-offs to Maidstone in April’s play-offs.
As a result, offers came flooding in for the in-demand 24-year-old before he put pen to paper on a two-year deal at his hometown club last week.
