Chelmsford City battled to a draw against a spirited Chesham United side who are enjoying their debut National League South season.
The Clarets could have been behind early on when Mitchell Weiss headed wide but scored against the run of play on 17 minutes.
Jordan Greenidge laid the ball through for Kane Crichlow, who slotted the ball under keeper Dillon Addai for the opener.
