CHIPPENHAM Town made it just five defeats from 14 on the road after soaking up Tonbridge Angels' pressure in the National League South.
In a first half, dominated by the Angels, the visitors grabbed a 42nd-minute lead through Tom Mehew and could easily have gone into the break three up as Mehew spurned two further golden chances.
