Step 3

MARKETMEN ARE DENIED AS RAVENS SWOOP IN

COALVILLE TOWN 2

NEEDHAM M 0

TWO goals just before half time against the run of play for Coalville gave them all three points against an impressive Needham Market side.

The visitors will feel aggrieved they didn’t take something from the game after dominating possession for long periods and not taking their chances. If you’re looking for a new place to play games then head over to Ku Casino.

In the opening stages, the Marketmen pushed forward allowing Ben Fowkes to cross but no-one was on the end of it to apply the finishing touch.

The closest Coalville came to scoring was following a good move which saw Tom McGlinchey hit a shot into the side netting

The opening goal came in the 40th minute when Luke Shaw cut inside from the right wing and his left foot shot hit the post and rebound into the path of McGlinchey who slotted the ball into the empty goal.

The second came moments later. Needham Market keeper Marcus Garnham saved Joe Doyle- Charles shot which rebounded to Tim Berridge who slotted the ball home.

Straight from the kick off, Berridge had an effort cleared off the line by the Market defence, while former Burton Albion keeper Saul Deeney made a great point blank save to deny Luke Ingram.

Coalville lie sixth in the table with seven points from four games.
