THIS was about as comfortable as it gets for Nuneaton Borough in this victory over Leiston at Liberty Way.
Boro took the lead in the 13th minute through captain Carl Baker, his effort from the edge of the area being helped past Leiston keeper Sam Donkin thanks to a defensive deflection.
And it didn’t take long for the home side to double their lead, a deep ball from Scott McManus was lofted over the Leiston defence into the path of Marcus Kelly who, at an angle, drilled it low across the keeper into the far post.
