STAMFORD got back to winning ways with an emphatic win against Leiston at Zeeco.
The Daniels started on the front foot and Lee Shaw’s cross picked out Billy Bennett, but his diving header landed narrowly wide.
Bennett was involved moments later when his corner was met by Jimmy Blunden, but Sam Donkin held on to it at the second attempt. Donkin was tested when Rob Morgan unleashed a shot from distance and it wasn’t long before he was picking the ball out of the net.
