ROB EVANS’ winner ensured Leamington edged out a battling Halesowen Town side to maintain their top six position.
The first half was well contested without being particularly absorbing, with the visitors pressing well and defending stoutly, stifling Leamington’s attacking outlets.
Miracle Okafor almost took advantage of a mistake in the Brakes defence on six minutes, rounding keeper Callum Hawkins before seeing the ball cleared away.
