A CALLUM Ebanks penalty steered Stratford to a second successive 1-0 win and lifted the managerless Bards into the top four.
The hosts, who recently saw manager Gavin Hurren leave for Hednesford, created the better chances in the first half but needed some fine defending after the break to deny their visitors any hopes of salvaging a draw.
The penalty was awarded on 19 minutes when Dan Lafferty was upended inside the area and Ebanks drilled the kick straight down the middle of Elliot Krasniqi’s goal.
