KETTERING were made to work hard for the points against Bishop Stortford, who set up a grandstand finish after scoring on 75 minutes.
It was the visitors who had the first stand-out chance on ten minutes when a ball from the right flashed across goal only for Lanrewaju Balogun to fail to turn the ball home from just inches away.
Three minutes later, Town took the lead when Wes York delivered a curling cross towards the head of Johnny Edwards, who headed back across goal past Elliot Krasniqi.
