BANBURY UNITED and Bishop’s Stortford fought out a tight encounter that finished honours even.
Neither goalkeeper was tested in the opening 15 minutes.
On 19 minutes, Connor Stanley weaved his way through the midfield but his effort from 25 yards lacked any venom and travelled well wide of the target.
A minute later the visitors broke to the other end. Nahum Melvin-Lambert drew a brilliant save from Jack Harding, and the forward could only fire wide on the follow-up.
