A GOAL in each half saw Stratford Town extend their play-off push with a victory over struggling Lowestoft, who are now on a run of four consecutive defeats.
The game proved much closer than expected, with an uneven pitch causing difficulty for both teams.
Lowestoft had the first two scoring attempts, but both Haylock and Sayer missed the mark. Stratford, however, had the best opportunity shortly after when a left-wing corner was flicked on to Joshua, whose overhead hook sent the ball over the bar.
