LEWIS Ison’s sumptuous 40-yard goal inside two minutes proved just enough for Stratford to claim the points and climb back into the playoff slots.
The Bards midfielder spotted Waders keeper Jack Berman off his line and lifted his shot into the empty net with just 100 seconds on the clock.
In fairness to the keeper, Stratford would have been out of sight had it not been for a string of saves to keep his side in contention and to maintain their slim hopes of avoiding the drop.
