A RED card for AFC Telford’s Harry Hawkins failed to derail the Bucks’ promotion charge, with Kevin Wilkin’s team showing resilience to score three goals in eight minutes in the final quarter of an hour to seal the points.
Hawkins was dismissed after just 25 minutes of an even contest after the midfielder’s high foot caught Barwell captain Brady Hickey around waist level.
Barwell appeared ready to be patient, and the home side didn’t have to resist any big push to establish an advantage.
