GOSPORT BOROUGH picked up a vital point as they settled for a draw against Wimborne Town at the AEI Stadium.
The visitors had the first chance as Jez Bedford scuffed a shot from Matthew Burrows’ pass before Gosport responded, Adam Payce’s header being clawed out by away keeper Cameron Plain from ten yards.
Home captain Rory Williams was booked for a clumsy tackle, before a dangerous Wimborne free-kick was eventually cleared despite a momentary scramble; Joe Morrison getting a decisive touch under pressure.
