STAMFORD’S woes in front of goal continued to haunt them in their hunt for their first victory of the season as they fell to defeat against a solid Stratford side.
Early on Stamford’s Ryan Wilson set Kai Tonge clear on goal. Jake Weaver made a fantastic save. Jordan Cooke then rose highest at the far post to power in a header. Jack Thomas then played the ball to Luke Johnson but he could only shoot over the bar.
