WAYNE BROWN insists he has no regrets about his time in interim charge of Colchester United last season – despite being given just 25 days in the job.

Maldon & Tiptree boss Brown replaced Steve Ball at the helm in February, with the U’s alarming loss of form resulting in fears the club could drop into Non-League football.
However, after achieving one win in nine games, Colchester chairman Robbie Cowling opted to make ano t h e r change and former West Ham United midfielder Hayden Mullins took over from Brown.
