LEAGUE newcomers Lancing put in a committed second-half display after conceding three firsthalf goals to a dominant Millers.
Goals from Marcel Barrington, Francis Babalola and Cem Tumkaya saw the Millers into a comfortable lead, but The Lancers reduced the arrears courtesy of Finn Daniels-Yeomans in the 51st minute.
With Alberto Lubango proving a constant threat to a shaky looking visitors rearguard, a second for Barrington just after the hour-mark appeared to secure the points for the visitors.
