■COGGESHALL’S first meeting with Maldon and Tiptree since they faced off in the play-off semi-final in May 2019 eventually ended all square – after they gave up a two-goal lead.
The home side went in front in the 25th minute through Alex Teniola.
Coggeshall increased their cushion when Jermaine Francis managed to pass back to Isaac Skubich to score.
Five minutes before the break, Maldon clawed one back through Shomari Barnwell.
The visitors had the better of the second half, with efforts from Philip Browne- Bampoe, Sam Cornish and Barnwell...
