■A JACK Evans opening goal after four minutes put Chatham in control early on.
After 20 minutes VCD had yet to trouble the Chats goal, but a rare break in the area gifted it to Jordan Greaves, who got Vickers back into the match against the run of play.
After 26 minutes an accurate ball inside left Callum Peck with the chance to double the lead for Chatham, which he gladly obliged.
