■ A RUTHLESS and destructive afternoon saw Sittingbourne crush Lancing.
Defender Jack Steventon scored four – including a second-half hat-trick – but for 44 minutes, the home side only led through Henry Sinai's early goal.
Three goals in as many minutes at the end of the half from Steventon, Sinai again and Joe Boachie gave the Brickies a 4-0 half-time lead.
The second period was the Steventon show as the defender netted three more to complete a maiden hat-trick before Mitch May netted his 22nd goal of the season.
