FOLKESTONE INVICTA’S league lead was cut to just a point as lowly Wingate reacted superbly to the midweek departure of manager Steve Clarke.
Clarke had overseen an ever- dwindling run of form during which Wingate took five points from seven games, leaving them second bottom of the league, and dropped out of the FA Cup.
