DAVID MEHEW is on the look-out for another club on his tour of the south west after resigning as manager of Mangotsfield Town.
The 49-year-old resigned as Mangos chief on Monday after the Evo-Stik League South West crashed to a shock FA Cup defeat to lower league Odd Down on Saturday.
‘Boris’ as he is affectionately known, returned to the Mangos for his second spell in charge in October 2015 having previously spent seven years at Gloucester City.
However, the Mangos have endured a shaky start to the new season having lost both of their opening league games before going down to defeat at Toolstation Western League side Odd Down in the FA Cup.
Former Bristol City goalkeeper Steve Phillips will take caretaker charge of the Mangos, starting with Saturday’s visit of Bishop’s Cleeve.
