ALTRINCHAM clinched the Premier division title with this win at Grantham, who now need a win from their final two games for a place in the play-offs.
Grantham began the game brightly and Danny Meadows got the ball into the danger area, but Altrincham keeper Tony Thompson claimed the ball before Grantham could take advantage. Alty went close a minute later but the ball went across goal and was touched out for a corner.
